Week 10
Principal Notes
Hello Dover-Eyota Families!
We are now in the final week of Quarter 1. We will be doing report cards just a bit different this year. You will have access to check the reports online through JMC. We are no longer printing report cards out to go home. For this you will need to have your username and password into JMC. Due to privacy laws we cannot email your username and passwords to you. We can send it home with your child or you may stop in if you don't remember your username and passwords. This was a required stop during the Conference and Assessment days in early September. If you did not do this stop, you will now need to request this or stop in to the office (teachers don't have your information), so you can access your child's grades at the end of the quarter. Report cards will be worked on November 9th with a due date for teachers to have them completed by November 11th. Grades will be considered submitted beginning on November 12th for Quarter 1 for your viewing. To obtain usernames and passwords, please contact Heather Wobschall in the office at heatherwobschall@deschools.org or by phone 507-545-2632.
Have a great week!
Ben Midge

Elementary Events & Schedule
PATT Fundraiser
Dover-Eyota Elementary, Let's Play Hockey! Well at least let's go cheer on the Rochester Grizzlies on Saturday, November 14th. Game time is 6:05pm at the Rochester. This was a great time last year and $5 of every ticket we sell by using our promo code will be donated to PATT, which goes back to helping the school with field trips, supplies, and other needs. Win, win for everyone! Please consider attending on our Dover-Eyota School Night.
Please use this link to be directed right to our promo code.
Zoom Dress Up Day
Friday, November 6th with be Zoom Dress Up Day for the schools end of quarter day. Thanks to the days of Covid 19 we inherited a funny dress day. Wear PJ pants and a dressy shirt to school.
Veteran's Program
On Wednesday, November 11th, we will be hosting a Veteran's Day Ceremony as we normally do at 2:15pm. We have a small space when we get everyone together, so we are only inviting Veteran's to attend with us at the school. A larger and more spacious program is available to others at the High School earlier in the day. We know more would like to attend, but we simply won't have the capacity to hold everyone, so please limit it to Veteran's attending. If they need assistance getting in, then yes, someone else may need to attend with them. We will do our best to Live Stream our ceremony on our Facebook page for the elementary, so others can see the program virtually. This is not a guarantee at this time, but we are making plans for this to happen.
Lost and Found
Every quarter we like to do a cleanout of the lost and found. The end of quarter 1 is on November 6th. We will make a donation run shortly after that day. We will not donate coats that get turned in between now and then, but sweatshirts has become the big filler. Classrooms will drop by a couple of times in the next two weeks to look through the lost and found. I would encourage you to also stop by as it works if you know something is missing. Please check-in at the office first and we will get you a visitors sticker to head down to take a look at our lost and found.

Do you know of or have a child between the ages of 3-5 who has not yet been screened? You can now sign up at this direct link for Early Childhood Screening. https://arux.link/jxzyPy
