• An annual jog/walk-a-thon held on October 17, 2025.
• HSA’s major fundraiser for the year; held to support the majority of the annual HSA budget that supports our students and teachers with activities such as: educational assemblies, school trips, educational resources, family events, school equipment & more.
• Our Goal is to raise $26,000 update this year! Let's blow away the goal and send Mr. Smith to the dunk tank!

• Parent/Guardian(s) supply at least 5 addresses (on supplied label sheet) of possible donors. (see back of page for further instruction)
• HSA mails Race for Education Mailers and Race Message Shoes to donors
• Donors send in TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations and Race Message shoe in support of students or they have the option to donate via our HSA Secure Website and send in a shoe
• Addresses are NOT used for any other school purpose and are NOT given out or sold to other organizations
• ADDRESS LABELS ARE DUE BACK BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th

Individual Incentives and Prizes

Please Note: In order to be eligible for all incentive categories above, your student must have at least one donation received, in their name.

• Level 1: 1 address label -Helps earn your child(ren)’s classroom 100% participation and a classroom prize. *Your own address counts as 1 label
• Level 2: 5 address labels (your address plus 4 more addresses) -FREE Race Day t-shirt.
• Level 3: 10 address labels -FREE Race Day t-shirt. 1 Entry into many raffle prize drawings. 6 top prizes of a $100 gift card (there is one $100 gift card winner per grade).
• Level 4: 15 address labels -FREE Race Day t-shirt. 1 Raffle Entry to win one of many prizes. A Free Happy Meal. 1 Movie Ticket to The Grand Theater. A concession voucher to Water Tower Cinema.
• Level 5: 20+ address labels -FREE Race Day t-shirt. 2 Raffle Entries to win one of many prizes. A Free Happy Meal. 1 Movie Ticket to The Grand Theater. A concession voucher to Water Tower Cinema.

Additional Incentives and Prizes - If race goal is met or exceeded.

• The classroom with the most address labels turned in earns a special classroom party.
• The classroom with 100% participation earns a prize.
• Medals will be awarded to the students in each grade who run the most laps.
• A Classroom trophy is awarded to the class per grade that has the highest average of laps.
• There will be a teacher incentive awarded to all teachers - if Race Goal is met or exceeded.
• Back by popular demand: If we exceed our goal, we will have a dunk tank at the Fall Parade on October 31, and students with the highest participation will have the chance to send Mr. Smith for a swim in the dunk tank!
