RED RIBBON WEEK - OCTOBER 24-28
Meaning/History of Red Ribbon Week:
RRW is in memory of DEA Agent Enrique (Kiki) Camarena, who was working undercover in Guadalajara in 1985 when he was kidnapped and never seen again. Shortly after Kiki’s death, U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter and Calexico High School classmate Henry Lozano launched Camarena Clubs in Kiki’s home town of Calexico, Calif. Club members wore red ribbons and pledged to lead drug free lives.

U-Turn on E Ranch Gate Road - causing traffic issues
Thank you for making a RIGHT turn onto Nohl Ranch Rd as you exit the parking lot (Left turns are not allowed during posted hours as this causes a back up in the parking lot AND impedes on the Nohl Ranch Rd Traffic).
However, we are noticing families making a U-Turn at E Ranch Rd, again causing issues to the West bound traffic on Nohl Ranch Rd.
Please use the alternative - Head to Villa Real and make Right - this road takes you back down to Santiago.
Parent Education Classes: Pre-K / K
This training is specific for parents of children 1-6 years old. Last year we did Phase 1, therefore this one says Phase 2. Parents can join even if they missed phase 1 and they are encouraged to come to any session they can. All the sessions are different but do follow each other somewhat. The sessions are virtual and recorded.
