Carnegie Chronicle
December 2025
Note from the Director
Greetings neighbors,
The library elves are busy preparing for the annual Children's Holiday Party this Friday at 6PM. We invite young children and their families to join us for a magical snowglobe-themed celebration in the library!
In other news, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant through the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program to make necessary repairs to the Friends Book Sale Room early next year. The total cost will exceed $100k, and the grant is a 2/3 matching grant, so we will have to pay for 1/3 of the project. This is the same program that helped us replace the annex roof last year, and we are very grateful for their support! The book sale will continue during the renovations, but will be moved to outdoor carts and Meeting Room 2. We appreciate your patience throughout this process, and we'll let you know when we are ready to receive book donations in the spring.
With warm holiday wishes,
Christina Danos
Thank You!
We wish to thank the Berryville Woodwind Quintet for performing a lovely holiday concert for us last week. These talented high school juniors have a bright, musical future ahead, and we look forward to welcoming them back anytime!
