CRES Family Communication

Dear CRES families,

Welcome back! The first week of April is always Assistant Principal Week, and while it's ironic that it's during CMAS testing, I don't want to miss a chance to recognize Nicole (Mrs. Johnson)!

The work of the assistant principal is often behind the scenes. She is the one figuring out how we are covering staff absences, building the recess duty schedule, managing student supports, and, of course, coordinating CMAS. However, Nicole is important to CRES for many more reasons than those! We are lucky to have her good humor, positive energy, and willingness to jump into all sorts of new situations, and are so glad she joined our team this year.

We are heading into the busiest time of year for us; I will do my best to keep the calendar at the bottom of this newsletter and on the website up to date! I apologize-- I missed getting a save the date out for the fourth grade performance. It's this coming Thursday, at 5:30.

Family survey- LAST CHANCE!

Parent survey deadline has been extended to April 17th!

Last year, we had 32.1% of CRES families reply- our goal is 50% this year! We are currently at 31.9%.

Each parent or guardian gets a code, and you only need to reply once, even if you have multiple students. Thanks for helping us identify our strengths and areas to grow. See this letter for more information.

CMAS testing- third and fourth grade

CMAS testing is scheduled from 4/7-4/17. Please make sure that your child is on time, well rested, and has had a good breakfast to ensure the best possible testing experience for them. If you have questions about specific testing dates or times reach out to Nicole Johnson at njohnson@rfschools.com
