Art in August

Art in August
๐ Hello families,
For the remainder of August, students in 1st through 5th grade will explore what the big word โCraftsmanshipโ means in the art room. We talk about how good craftsmanship does NOT mean trying to make art look perfect. Instead, it means taking our time and trying our best.
Students will begin brainstorming and practicing ways they can show good craftsmanship while creating artwork for their Art to Remember masterpieces.
Each child will be able to choose between designing their own unique work of art or following a guided project. Families will have the option to upload unlimited artwork pieces to their childโs Art to Remember profile, giving you the chance to place their creations on keepsake merchandise in the coming months if you choose. Art to Remember is the only art fundraiser we participate in during the school year, and all proceeds go directly toward purchasing supplies and materials for our art students.
