Tax Information

As many of you know, the State of Illinois allows families to claim a K-12 Education Expense Credit for any tuition paid to a qualified private school. Aquin is a qualified private school, and you are able to apply for this tax credit. Students in Pre-K and afterschool care may qualify for a different childcare tax credit. It is important to consult a tax professional if you have questions.

In order to claim these tax credits, you must have a statement of payments made. Because we use the FACTS tuition system, you are able to produce the tax document in your Family Portal. We do not have the ability to produce these on our end.

I am attaching the directions we were given from FACTS on how to generate this statement from your portal. It includes screen shots, so it should be very easy to follow. If you cannot get it to work or need assistance, please let us know and we will try to help you in the office.
