Arcie Lovato
We have some truly wonderful news to share, Arcie Lovato rang the bell on Friday, marking the end of her cancer treatment!
We are absolutely thrilled for her and celebrated this incredible milestone together as a school family.
5th Grade Zoo Trip
On Tuesday, our 5th grade class had an exciting trip to the Denver Zoo. This visit was especially meaningful as the students missed their Kindergarten field trip to the zoo due to COVID-19 restrictions. To make up for that lost experience, they were thrilled to finally explore the zoo in 5th grade.
The day was filled with beautiful weather, allowing everyone — students, teachers, and parents — to fully enjoy the time spent together observing various animals and learning about wildlife. This trip not only provided educational opportunities but also strengthened the bonds between classmates and families in a joyful outdoor setting.
Life Skills Class
Check out our Life Skills class using their building skills to help put together new chairs for their classroom.
Unified Basketball
On Monday, the Akron Rams Unified basketball team welcomed the Northeast Coyotes for an exciting match. Each year, our life skills class collaborates with past students to form a team. They dedicated time to practice on the court, honing their skills and teamwork for approximately a month leading up to the game.
A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Brandon and her aides for their efforts in organizing this wonderful event. We also appreciate the school faculty and students who came out to cheer, creating an enthusiastic and supportive atmosphere for all. The energy in the gym was awesome!

Our FFA students have once again created beautiful arrangements to sell for Easter!
Math Facts
Our elementary students have been working on their math facts! After completing work in the classrooms, students can come to Mrs. Smith's office and prove they have mastered their facts by doing flash cards. Once they complete the flash cards they are given a treat and piece of popcorn to hang on the "Look Who's Popping in Math" bulletin board.
Watch for an updated board as our students keep working on their math skills.
