Future Sixth Grade Students

We're inviting you to join us at Marietta Sixth Grade Academy (MSGA) for an important information night about your child's upcoming sixth-grade year.

Date: November 18, 2025
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: MSGA Gym

This evening is all about preparing for a successful sixth-grade experience. You will have the opportunity to meet the principal and hear about his purpose and vision for the school. There will also be breakout sessions to learn more about Advanced Studies, supportive services and our gifted resource class.

We believe that a strong partnership between parents and educators is crucial for the success of our students. This evening will serve as a platform for open communication, allowing you to ask questions, share your expectations, and actively participate in your child's educational journey.

There will also be refreshments and an opportunity to connect with other parents.

Girls on the Run Practice Calendar

Starting Monday October 6, Girls on the Run will meet from 3:30-5:00 on Monday and Thursday. This change is due to the amount of girls that also participate in Performing Panthers. We want them to be able to do both :). The new days will be:

Student Health and Attendance

Park Street would like to thank parents for keeping their child/children home when sick and remind them about Return to School protocols during illness.

Keeping illness out of the school is one of the best defenses for all types of sickness. If your son or daughter is ill, please keep them home. This allows your child to recover and prevent others from becoming sick.

If your child stays home for more than 48 hours due to an illness, don't hesitate to get in touch with your child's teacher and or Nurse Nicole. Our school nurse is here for guidance and support.

The Impactful Read Alouds in Early Literacy Microcredential helps to prepare candidates and community members in building a solid foundation in language and literacy development of young children. It will prepare employees, civic leaders, volunteers, and learners to appropriately deliver a storytime or literacy experiences with young children in a way which contributes to a solid foundation for later literacy learning.
