FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Hello Fuller Families!
We’ve had a wonderful first three days of school at Fuller Elementary! Our Chaparrals are off to a strong start, and we are excited to begin our first full week together on Monday. Thank you, families, for helping make these first days smooth and successful.
đź”’ Safety First
Please take a moment to review the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) that is followed in all public schools. If you see one of these posters (on the left) displayed, that means we are conducting a drill. Everyone on campus—including visitors—must follow the directions of staff during these drills. Your cooperation keeps our students safe.
📊 Attendance Matters
This week, we welcomed 659 students to Fuller Elementary!
Our slogan this year is: “Building a Legacy, One Day at a Time – Strive for 95!”
Our campus goal is for every student to attend school at least 95% of the time. Each week we will share both grade-level percentages and the overall school-wide attendance rate. Let’s work together to meet this goal—attendance is key to learning and success!
🎉 Happy Birthday!

📞 Communication is Key
We value open communication and want to ensure you have accurate information. Please avoid turning to social media for school answers or concerns, as this can lead to confusion. Instead, reach out directly—I am always happy to help.

Upcoming Events and Reminders
Aubrey ISD bus provider, Durham School Services, has a new mobile app for families: BusZone. BusZone allows user-friendly bus tracking for parents, ensuring greater peace of mind and efficiency for everyone.
This replaces the Bus Tracker app. BusZone has enhanced features that allow parents/guardians to safely and securely check on their student’s school bus and receive updates.
To set up BusZone:
Download the BusZone app from the App Store or Google Play.
Enter the School Access Code: 3107AISD
In the search field, enter the bus or route number you want to follow.
Complete this step for all the buses your students ride throughout the week.
Enter your child’s unique student ID. This is the same ID you use in ParentPortal.
Create “alert zones” around drop-off and pick-up points.
When your child’s bus enters an alert zone, you will receive a notification by email or text.
Visit the BusZone website to read or download a guide for parents/guardians. Aubrey ISD is not responsible for the functions or content of BusZone. Please email buszone3107@nellc.com if you have questions about the BusZone app.
Families are encouraged to remove the previous Durham Bus Tracker app as it no longer displays active information.

Attendance
Please remember our campus goal is a 95% attendance rate. We want to see every child, every day.
Absences and excuse notifications should be sent to sharrison@aubreyisd.net OR alaster@aubreyisd.net
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
