A Note from the Principal
Happy New Year, Ranger Family!
It is hard to believe that we are entering the 2nd semester. We look forward to starting the New Year with students on January 9, 2024. This month, students (Kinder-5th) will take the MAP assessment to measure growth from the beginning of the year in reading and math. The results of these assessments help teachers plan for instruction and intervention.
As students return from the break, please take a moment to encourage your child to engage fully in the learning and to be respectful of others, students and staff. Together, we make Timber Ridge ES a place where all students feel they belong and can be successful.
In partnership,
Stephani Grisham
Timber Ridge ES Principal
Parent and Teacher Partnership
Timber Ridge ES is committed to frequent two-way communication with families about their child's learning. We value and appreciate your partnership as we collaborate to ensure growth and learning for each student. If you have a concern, we ask that you allow us the opportunity to investigate and respond. If the concern is about a classroom situation, we ask that you first attempt to resolve the concern with your child's teacher. If you still have a concern after speaking with your child's teacher, please feel free to reach out to an administrator and we will be glad to assist you.

Counselors' Corner
Ranger Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year! During the month of January we will be learning all about Responsibility in our social emotional lessons. Responsibility means making good choices and accepting the positive or negative outcomes of our actions. Through engaging discussions and activities, we help them understand the importance of accountability, time management, and taking ownership of their actions. Fostering a sense of responsibility at this early stage lays the groundwork for responsible decision making and promotes a positive and cooperative school environment.
We are very excited to welcome Carolyn Brown back for a special presentation. We look forward to seeing all of our families join us on the evening of the 23rd for a special presentation.
Sincerely,
Mrs. DeVito, Mrs. Mobley, and Mr. Price
