My name is Ethan Overton and I am a senior at Dallas Baptist University finishing up my degree in music education. I have lived in a lot of different places but grew up primarily in Colorado Springs. If I am not working on something musical, I am likely hiking, rock climbing or tending to my plants. I have a deep affinity for choir and have been in ensembles myself for just over a decade. I am always looking for new music so please don't hesitate to share your favorite artists and albums with me. I am so excited to begin working with everyone at Coppell and I look forward to meeting each of you personally.

Plano Civic Chorus is pleased to announce that this year we have doubled the scholarship awards for our Merritt Felmly Scholarship Fund. FOUR $1000 scholarships will be awarded; two to high school seniors and two to college students at either the undergrad or graduate level. Additionally, the choral program of each high school student winner will receive $250 for their program. For details, visit the link below.

Applications are due February 28, 2025.

The Coppell Community Chorale will award at least three (3) scholarships to undergraduate students who demonstrate appreciation for choral music through participation in school, church, and/or community choir.

• Two (2) awards will be made to students who intend to pursue an academic challenge in a discipline other than, or in addition to, music.

• One (1) award will be made to a student who intends to pursue music.

Note: Students who have performed with the Coppell Community Chorale will be given preference for this award

Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 28, 2025.

We are thrilled to share some incredible news about our very own, award-winning show choir, Vivace! not only competed with incredible passion and talent, but they also PLACED SECOND at the NTSCI competition in Mansfield! 🥈

This achievement is monumental, especially considering it is only their second year participating in show choir competitions. This is a huge testament to the dedication and hard work of our amazing singers. We couldn’t be more proud of their well-deserved recognition!
