Updates from Allenwood School

November 2025 Newsletter
Principal's Message
Dear Allenwood Families,
As we step into November, a month that reminds us to reflect on gratitude, I want to take a moment to express how thankful I am for our Allenwood community. The dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support from our families make this school a truly special place. Thank you for all you do to make Allenwood a warm, welcoming, and thriving learning environment.
Please take note of the following schedule updates for this month:
School Closed:
-
Thursday, November 6
-
Friday, November 7
Parent-Teacher Conferences:
-
Day Conferences: November 20, 21, and 25
-
Evening Conference: November 24
All conference days are half days for students, with a 1:15 PM dismissal. Please plan accordingly for student pick-up.
Allenwood is committed to improving student attendance and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed. To support this goal, students who achieve perfect attendance each month will be recognized with a Perfect Attendance Certificate at the end of that month. We encourage all families to make consistent, on-time attendance a priority.
As part of our ongoing superintendent search process, we are seeking feedback from our school community. Your voice is essential in helping us identify the qualities and priorities that matter most in our next superintendent. Later in this newsletter, you will find a link to the survey — please take a moment to complete it, because your voice matters!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Wishing you a November filled with gratitude, joy, and meaningful moments.
Sincerely,
James Sterenczak
Principal
