• Media Class Schedule (to remind you when your child exchanges library books)
• Database Passwords (to help you utilize our resources; please log in to the Doc with an FCPS account)
• eBook Resources (read anywhere with books on the go!)

October is full of fun events, such as Indigenous People's Day and National Fossil Day! Use our optional choice board calendar (linked below) to read more about the fun events that occur all month long!

Do you have older students who love coding? Check out the link below for Halloween themed Scratch coding projects!

The fall book fair is quickly approaching and will be held in the media center from 10/31-11/4! Learn more about shopping hours, payment options and available books with the link below! If you can't shop in person, use the second link to shop our online book fair!

Did you know that 600 million pounds of candy are purchased for Halloween each year? Most of those candy wrappers end up in landfills! Second grade students at NMES have been learning about recycling in the media center and are collecting candy wrappers for our participation in Trick or Trash! We are filling a special garabage can with our used candy wrappers and then will mail them to be recycled and turned into something new. Send us your candy wrappers!
