Knox Receives Math Grant For Professional Learning
Knox is the proud recipient of a $30,000 grant for professional learning and collaboration in mathematics. Our Knox math team comprised of teachers and administrators attended a weekend of learning at the CPM math conference in San Francisco on February 23rd.
As a next step in supporting the growth and leadership of our Knox Math Professional Learning Community (PLC), this grant will allow us to host professional learning opportunities onsite at Knox. We are excited to collaborate with the CPM team in the continued development of student-centered data-driven math classrooms during the 2019-2020 school year.
Through the upcoming CPM coaching cycles, our math team will participate in a lesson study model, supporting student achievement and continued academic engagement and success.
