Happy Friday, Giesinger Families!

What a wonderful week to be a Giesinger Eagle! We have so much to celebrate, and my heart is incredibly full!

On Thursday, we held our Soaring with Character Celebration, recognizing students who demonstrate Respect and Responsibility! What a special morning! There is something so powerful about stopping our busy day to celebrate the greatness we see in children. When we recognize students for being respectful, responsible, and kind, we are helping them see those qualities in themselves. We aren't just celebrating what they do; we are helping shape who they become! I am so proud of our Eagles!

I also want to take a moment to celebrate our AMAZING teachers and staff! Every day, I have the privilege of walking into classrooms and witnessing the incredible things happening at Giesinger.

The love, patience, creativity, and dedication our teachers pour into our children are truly something special. I wish every parent could see what I get to see each day! Your children are surrounded by people who genuinely love them and want them to succeed. We are so blessed!

Now, let's talk about some exciting changes coming Tuesday!

NEW SCHOOL START TIME! Beginning Tuesday, October 13, our school day will officially begin at 7:50 AM! Our doors will continue to open at 7:15 AM, and breakfast will be available until 8:00 AM.

Students arriving after 7:50 AM will be considered tardy. Those five extra instructional minutes each day may seem small, but over the course of a school year, they add up to BIG opportunities for learning!

OUR NEW GYM! Check out our new grade-level schedules beginning Tuesday, October 13. I cannot wait to see our students enjoying this wonderful addition to Giesinger!

As we head into our four-day weekend, I hope your family enjoys some extra time together. Thank you for sharing your greatest treasures with us and for being such an important part of our Giesinger family.

We have so much to look forward to, and I am grateful we get to do it together!

Bully Prevention

Our current year-to-date attendance rate is 95.9%, and we know our Eagles can keep climbing!

Being at school every day helps our students build friendships, develop routines, and grow academically. Thank you, families, for making attendance a priority!

This year along with our dance we are having an indoor TRUNK or TREAT in our new gym! And we are looking for volunteers AND booth sponsors to help bring our Indoor Trunk or Treat to life! 🧡💜

SPONSOR A BOOTH: Decorate a fun booth and join in the festivities! PTO provides ALL the candy, and businesses are welcome to pass out promotional items, coupons, or giveaways. There is a vendor fee of $15 for this option!

🙋‍♀️ VOLUNTEER: Set up your own booth (non-vendors only) or help us set up, decorate, and keep everything running smoothly throughout the evening. Whether you can help a little or a lot, WE NEED YOU!
