Hoyne Happenings
Hello Families,
Last week we had an awesome time at our Walk, Bike, and Roll to school event. We had an amazing turnout of families. We also enjoyed a great meal together at our New Family Dinner. It was so nice to spend some extra time with all the new members of our Pride. On Friday, we celebrated our Fun Run success. As a school we raised over $30,000. Thank you again for your amazing generosity!
We began this week with our first ALICE drill of the year. A separate e-news was sent home on Friday with more information. Later this week our 5th graders will head off to camp. We are looking forward to a fun filled 3 days of learning and community building.
Have a great week!

Pembroke Ski Club
2024 Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Clubs Registrations
The 2024 Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Clubs offer a fun and affordable way for children, ages 7 through high school seniors, to learn skiing and snowboarding. The program includes discounted lift tickets, rentals, and lessons for all abilities. Parents can also join and receive the same discounts on club nights.
The club runs during the winter season, typically starting in December, with meetings based on the sponsor’s schedule. Thanks to excellent snow-making capabilities, the program operates without reliance on natural snow. Families meet at Pine Knob’s “Pinery Room” on club nights.
Joining offers significant discounts on lift tickets and rentals, along with the chance to enjoy skiing as a group. Optional group lessons are available for an additional fee, offering six lessons with the same instructor and group. Our group will meet Tuesdays along with Harlan and BCS.
Registration is now open: 2025 Student Club Registration Link
