Brack's Bulletin
Dear Horizon Families,
On Thursday, October 15, we will conduct our first crisis drill of the school year. During this time, we will review our campus-wide crisis alerts and discuss how we respond to each one to help ensure our students and staff know what to do in the event of an emergency.
Please know that this will be a conversation only, with no active scenarios or simulated emergencies. All conversations will be handled in an age-appropriate, calm, and reassuring way, with the goal of helping students feel safe and prepared.
We understand that every child is different, and we want to partner with you in whatever way feels best for your family. If you would prefer to have your child opt out of participating in the drill, please reach out to me directly.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership as we work together to keep our Tigers safe!
Warmly,
Elexis Brack
Principal
Celebrating Our Custodians!
Last Friday, October 2, we celebrated our amazing custodians, Nate, Robbie, and Gabe, for National Custodial Workers Recognition Day!
We are so thankful for all they do to keep Horizon running smoothly. From fixing things around the building to keeping our school clean and welcoming, they work hard every day to take care of our school and our students.
Thank you, Nate, Robbie, and Gabe, for everything you do for Horizon! We appreciate you!
Forgot to Order School Pictures? You still have time!
You still have time! If you haven’t ordered your student’s Fall Picture Day photos yet, you have 5 days after Picture Day to place your order and have it shipped free to the school.
Order online anytime at Strawbridge.net using Horizon’s school code PX519390.
The ordering link will remain available throughout the school year, so you can still place an order after October 12. Shipping charges may apply to orders placed after the October 12 deadline.
