Double Wolf Dare Week 2025

Our DWDW recipient for 2025 is Keaton's Kindness Foundation (K Club) which honors the life of Keaton Barron by partnering with Oklahoma Children's Hospital and OK Kids Korral to offer support in a variety of ways to pediatric cancer patients and their families. All of our DWDW events for this school year are designed to raise an impactful amount of money for this amazing organization. Keaton bravely battled leukemia from age 2 until age 8 when he sadly passed away; however, while still very much alive at age 7, Keaton helped to establish the "K Club" as a group that would bring kindness, courage, compassion, and caring to children battling pediatric cancer. I was fortunate to hear Keaton's mom Holly share Keaton's story and tell about all of the ways that this organization is continuing the K Club mission to help children and their families here in Oklahoma.

As we join efforts to support the "K Club" in 2025 with our DWDW events, let's endeavor to make a difference while having fun and staying safe. Dares have always been a part of our events, but please remember that in 2025 there will be no "spontaneous or on-the-spot" dares. All dares will require both administrator permission and parent permission in advance of the event where the dare is taking place. Also, we are still having class during DWDW Week. School classes will meet for at least 40 minutes each day. Students will be expected to attend class, to participate honestly and positively in DWDW events, and to contribute to the awesome school environment that DWDW creates year after year. In the end, we want to raise money to support a great cause, but we also want to come together as a school and unite to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Santa Fe Earns an A on State Report Card for 2023-2024

Just before the end of First Semester, the State Department of Education released the Oklahoma State Report Cards for each public school in Oklahoma. Just like last year, Edmond Santa Fe High School has once again earned an A on our State Report Card. A number of indicators go into the report card's makeup such as academic performance, attendance, postsecondary opportunities, and support for students new to learning English. As one of the only Class 6A high schools to receive an A, we are excited to celebrate the continuing excellence of our students. Thank you for supporting Edmond Santa Fe High School and for helping us to stand out in a positive way as an elite high school in Oklahoma!

After-School Tutoring on Wednesdays

After School Tutoring will not take place during Double Wolf Dare Week. After three weeks of interruption due to weather and school events, After School Tutoring will return on Wednesday, March 5th and will continue until the final week of the school year. For those who sign up by March 4th, pizza will be provided when After School Tutoring resumes on March 5th (with an understanding that you will be present and study for the entire 60 minute block). This is an awesome way to get "free" homework help from AP and NHS Students who have already been successful in the subject where you need help.
