College/Career Decision Day, May 1

In case you did not watch the video above: To coincide with college decision day, SHS will have a "college and career decision day" celebration. One of the parts of this is a video highlighting the future plans of seniors. Whether you are going into a trade program, right to a career, to a community college or university, we want to celebrate your next step.

Directions: Send me a photo, what you are going to study/do, and where (Example, Richard Johnson, Portland State University, studying business). You can see last year's video below!

Schools you have applied to should have sent you a financial aid packet, that tells you what your likely costs will be and includes federal and scholarship aid from the school. Be sure to be careful when reading these...note what aid is grants or scholarships, vs. loans. Take a look at this list of 6 tips below (or HERE).

Remember to send me your pics and information by the 28th for the decision day video! Send it to alan.kirby@nsantiam.k12.or.us.
