From cheerful clap outs to heartfelt slideshows and even some unforgettable inflatable costumes—our last day was truly one to remember! Thank you all for an incredible year. Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and restful summer!

Wow—what an incredible BBQ! We are so grateful for the time, effort, and love you pour into our school community all year long. The BBQ was a blast for our entire school, and it's all thanks to you!

Our Kindergarten Graduation ceremony was a joyful celebration filled with songs, heartfelt speeches, and proud moments as our students received their certificates. Congratulations to our amazing Kindergarten graduates—you are the final Kindergarten class to graduate from Steen School!
We wish you all the best as you begin your next adventure at Bixby!

Congratulations to our 5th Grade Hawks on their Promotion Night! We are incredibly proud of all you’ve accomplished during your time at Steen. Best of luck as you soar into Bogota Middle School—you’ve got this!

We were thrilled to welcome our Pre-K families for our Preschool Celebration Ceremonies! It was a joyful time to reflect on a wonderful year of learning, growth, and fun. Congratulations to our amazing Pre-K students—we are so proud of you!

Our amazing Steen PTO hosted a beautiful slideshow in the gym to honor the end of the year. They also presented flowers to the teachers who will be moving to Bixby next year—a heartfelt sendoff for some very special staff members. Best of luck on your new journey! We’ll miss you dearly. Just a mile apart, but always in our hearts!

We celebrated 35 years of Week of the Arts this year! Students got to experience various types of art through different assemblies, workshops, and activities!

The Annual 3rd Grade Wax Museum was a huge success! Our talented third graders brought history to life by reading biographies, memorizing key facts, and dressing up as influential figures. Families, students, and staff had a blast pressing the red buttons and learning from each incredible "wax" figure. Great job, 3rd grade!

Students dressed like teachers, and teachers dressed like students—it was a day full of fun and laughter! Our teachers were amazed to see how closely their students mirrored their outfits and personalities. What a cool and memorable way to celebrate the end of the year!

What do you do at Steen to celebrate the end of state testing? You let Student Council throw a Minute-to-Win-It Pep Rally Competition! It was so much fun seeing the grades all compete in the mini games!

Our Student Council Kindness Coin initiative continues this year! Throughout the month, students who are caught performing an act of kindness without being asked are given a paper yellow coin on our pot of gold mural. At the end of the month, these students are recognized over the loudspeaker and presented with a certificate. Congratulations to all of our Kindness Coin recipients!

Students were provided with assignments to complete over the summer as well as supply lists for the new school year. Finished assignments should be turned into your child's new teacher in September. Summer assignments and supply lists can also be found online:
