Homecoming week will take place between January 29 - February 2. Homecoming is always one of my favorite weeks of the school year, and I can't wait to see how our kiddos participate throughout this week.

Mums will only be allowed to be worn on Friday (February 2nd).

Zoom Day (Dress nice on top and comfy on the bottom)

Adam Sandler (Wear your oversized t shirts & basketball shorts)

Career Day (dress like the career you want to be when you grow up)

Letter of your 1st name (dress up as something that starts with the same letter as your name). For example, if your name is Lauren, you could dress as a lemon.

Spirit Day (show your Owl pride by wearing Blue & White)

MS Basketball vs Saltillo @YHS. The first game begins at 4:30pm.

Tyler Junior College will have representatives available at 5pm in the cafeteria. The intent of this meeting is to help all Seniors complete their FAFSA application.

Seniors, please remember that the earlier you complete this process, the more opportunities you have to receive money for college or trade school. Please also remember that is a graduation requirement.

HS Basketball vs Saltillo at YHS. The first game begins at 4:30pm.

The Bonfire will begin at 6pm at YHS.

The Pep Rally will begin at 2:30 in the competition gym @ YHS.

HS Basketball will begin at 5:00pm with our Varsity Girls, followed by the Varsity Boys.

We will also have a halfcourt shot contest that will take place during half-time of the Varsity Girls game. A raffle will begin when the doors open for an opportunity to take place in this event.

The YHS Homecoming King and Queen will be recognized during half-time of the Varsity Boys Basketball Game.

Following our Basketball game on Friday Night, will be the Homecoming Dance. The Homecoming Dance will be finished at 11:30.

Owls, if you are planning on inviting a student that is not a student at YHS, your guest must be enrolled as a student at another school. Please come by the front office to get your guest permission form that will need to be signed by your guests principal.

This event if only for our High School students. We will have a MS Dance later in the Spring.
