Below is the message I shared with our students on Friday morning:

Lead with Value- Doesn't it make you feel good when you do something nice for someone in your life? When you have great friends, you will want to do more and more kind things for them. If you offer to help them, the will be there when you need help. That is what good friends are for!

December is Here!

Friday marked the first day of December! All things considered the weather has been pretty nice. Thank you for the support in sending the winter gear. We need all of our students to be prepared when the cold days occur. Coat, hat, and gloves are a must and on those really cold days it's nice to have snow pants and boots too!

In preparation for the snow, I will be sending home a letter with our plan if we need to have a snow day. We will follow a similar plan to last year with our snow days. The only difference this year is that we will add a Face to Face check in via Google Meet. Our 1st-5th graders will be able to access google meet via their chromebooks. However, PK-KG parents, I'll be asking that you download the google meet app to your phone. Our PK-KG teachers will communicate via Class DoJo, which is how they've been communicating so far this year. We will just add another layer so that we can answer any questions that pop up in a face to face fashion. I know everyone is busy, so if you can't do the face to face connection just connect with teachers via email. Look for more information to be sent home this week with your child.
