BENNY PASSES THE MIC TO OUR PTA PRESIDENT
I can't believe it's December already! We are getting ready for classroom Winter Parties - more details below. Here are two more dates you don't want to miss this month:
- 🔬 Put your thinking caps on and get ready for STEAM Night on December 7 in the Boggess Gym and Cafeteria.
- 🍗 Eat at Raising Cane's before or after STEAM Night, and Boggess PTA raises money. Tell the cashier you're with Boggess!
I also want to thank the entire staff at Boggess for their support. We received the Golden Apple Award from Texas PTA because ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of our faculty are PTA members. We are incredibly lucky to have the absolute best teachers showing up for our students!

WHAT: Boggess PTA is excited to end this semester with a party for our students! Our fantastic room parents will have activities set up to keep the students moving and having fun. Snacks will be provided, but if your student has a special dietary restriction, please feel free to send a specific snack for them.
SIGN UP TO DONATE PARTY SUPPLIES: We need your help to make this party a big success! You can contribute by signing up to donate something off our Sign Up Genius list, which will be shared soon in the Facebook grade level groups. We appreciate each and every parent's contribution! All donations will be accepted in the classrooms December 18-19. Thank you!
Registration is now open for our next after-school program, Wize Computing Academy - Coding with Minecraft Education Software.
DATES: Wednesdays, January 17-March 6 (8 weeks)
TIME: 2:55-4:00 p.m.
COST: $218 per student
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We will need 2-3 volunteers to help on those Wednesdays from around 2:40-4:10 p.m. Volunteers will receive 70% discount off first child’s registration and 35% discount on any additional children’s registrations.
Parent volunteers will help get registered students to the program from their classrooms, help supervise during the class, and assist with dismissal. All volunteers must have a current, completed background check in Voly. If you would like to volunteer, please email Jennifer Colvin at programs@boggesspta.org prior to registering for the class so you can receive the discounted rate.
