Parent Pocket - September 4

Skate night is back! The first Tuesday of each month you can find the Gator family of Arnett Hills smoothly skating to sensational sounds at Skatetown. Over 100 students and their families joined in. The heat couldn't stop these kids from having a great time. PTO President JD Edmonds and DJ Pinky had the music and fun blasting. Thank you PTO, staff, and Skatetown staff for making this a great night for our students.

Activ8 STEM Academy thanks all of their families who joined them for their first Parents as Learning Partners of the year and experienced a House Meeting with their child!

Schoolfield Elementary enjoyed a great morning listening to their SGA candidates give their speeches and share why they would make strong student leaders!

Way to step up and lead, Jaguars!

5th grade students in Ms. Ferguson's class are taking brain breaks with We Will Write! Students are given fun and thought-provoking prompts, such as, "If a shark and a gorilla went head to head..."

Then it's up to them to use their creativity and writing skills to finish the story!

Mrs. Jasko’s kindergarten students worked with partners to compare groups and figure out which one had more. They practiced counting, comparing and explaining their thinking while learning alongside a friend!
