We hope you had a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, make memories, and enjoy family and friends. As we prepare to welcome students back to campus, there is a wonderful sense of excitement throughout Acacia. Our teachers and staff have been busy getting classrooms ready, planning engaging lessons, and creating warm, supportive spaces where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.

Whether you're a returning Panda family or joining Acacia for the first time, we're so happy you're here. At Acacia, we believe every child deserves to feel known, valued, and inspired to do their best. We are proud of our strong tradition of academic excellence, caring relationships, and partnership with families. Together, we'll make this a year filled with meaningful learning, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for an amazing school year!

The office is now open daily from 7:30am to 4:00pm as we prepare for the first day of school on August 10.

There will be a short Welcome Back Meeting for parents at 8:05 on the first day of school in the MPR. For more information on the school-wide behavior expectations at Acacia, please see our school handbook on our website at www.fullertonsd.org/Acacia, or the attached behavior matrix.

• Kindergarten last names A-M: 12:00-1:00 PM
• Kindergarten last names N-Z: 1:00-2:00 PM

The Annual Information Review (AIR) is now open. You should have received an email with a link from the district to complete this important process which includes student and emergency information. All families who have completed AIR by August 6, will receive their students' class assignment after 4:00 pm on Friday, August 7. Please let the office know if you have any questions.

Breakfast will be served in the MPR from 7:30-7:45 daily. There will be supervision in the MPR during breakfast. The first bell rings at 7:45 when we welcome all students on campus with supervision on the playground. The warning bell rings at 7:57, so that students are in line and ready to start the day when the final bell rings at 8:00.

Lunch and breakfast will continue to be free for all students daily. We will still do a lunch count daily so please discuss with your student the importance to take correct lunch count. Some students bring a lunch to school and then by lunchtime, get a school lunch. This results in some lunch shortages. Please review with students the importance of this count. TY!

Our teachers are looking forward to sharing their classrooms during Back to School Night, which is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026. Session 1 will begin at 5:30, and Session 2 will begin at 6:30. There will be a PTA meeting on the blacktop at 6:10 between the two sessions. All teachers will be presenting at both sessions.

• You can drop off medications anytime starting now between 8 AM - 2 PM through the first day of school.

A reminder, if your child will need crutches or a cast and/or splint to begin the year, please fill out this form and have bring your child by the office to check in. We will need to ensure their safety prior to entering campus.
