Ram Page

The Akron Pom team will perform on Saturday, January 25th in Greenwood Village at Cherry Creek High School.

Last weekend our HS Wrestling team participated in a tournament at Greeley West. The team placed 6th overall.

The Wrestlers have a busy weekend starting with a Quad in Byers on Thursday night, hosting duals vs Yuma on Friday, and traveling to the Limon Tournament on Saturday!

Good Luck Rams!

Friday night, the Rams hosted Burlington. While the girls varsity team battled on the court they couldn't overcome the Cougars. The boys varsity team had a great game and defeated Burlington by 20 points.

On Saturday, the teams traveled to Wiggins. The C boys secured a win, JV boys lost, and the varsity boys lost a close game in overtime 48-45. The varsity girls continue to improve, this time pulling out a 40-32 win over the Tigers.

The Rams swept the Fleming Wildcats on Tuesday night. The Lady Rams won 42-33 and the Boys Varsity won 67-44.

On Thursday night, our MS basketball team hosted the Sterling Tigers. All 6 levels got in some valuable playing time!

The MS girls will host their tournament on Monday, January 27th.

This month the preschool class is doing a study about balls. Each student was asked to bring a ball in from home. They ranged in size from a golf ball to a large workout ball!

On Tuesday, the students did an experiment where they each picked out a ball and dropped it from the bridge to see which ball bounced the most.

Our 8th Grade Wellness Class and our Akron Preschoolers met up for the first time to get their Semester Big Buddy Activities started.

Once a week the 8th graders will visit the preschool. Together they will start creating relationships, learn to be role models, and promote positive interactions!

It’s going to be a great semester.

On Wednesday, 38 FFA members attended the Nation Western Stock Show.

Thank you Mrs. Houston and Makayla Hoffman for sponsoring our students.
