Last year, we introduced the idea of the Tiger Village scholarship program, and now we are proud to announce that the idea has come to life!

The purpose of the program is to provide incentives to students to reach beyond what they have previously accomplished, with the support of a mentor, to increase both their levels of achievement and their confidence in their abilities.

At the beginning of the semester in August, we began with a pilot cohort for the program, and in February we were able to award of a final prize of $100 to six (6) students who achieved their goals! Our GOAL is to double the number of students reached and achieve their goals every semester until we reach capacity. To do this WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! CLICK HERE to donate for the next semester's awards!

FINALLY - If you would like more information, to provide feedback, or discuss further ways to get involved, please reach out to me, Sydney Rosenblum, the student success coach and program manager for Tiger Village, via email tighervillagebhs@gmail.com or srosenblum@vanburenschools.net or phone at 734-697-1784. We have created a website: www.bit.ly/bhstigervillage and hope you take a minute to check it out!

Thank you for your support!

This year, we created a student media team, and they have begun learning to manage content for our Social Media sites. With their creativity and skill they have doubled interest in our school sites in a very short time, simply by SHARING GOOD NEWS about BHS! FOLLOW US by using any of the QR codes below!
