Colder weather is approaching! Students will continue to go outside for recess unless the wind chill is below 30 degrees. 4th and 5th grade teachers have the option of using the FEMA Gym for indoor recess during cold and/or inclement weather. Please be sure to send appropriate cold weather gear with your student: coat, hat, gloves, etc.

Be sure to put your child's name on their coat in case it gets separated from your child. It makes it easier to return lost items!

It's the law that all drivers must stop when a bus is loading or unloading children. Drivers are NOT permitted to drive around the stop-arm. This includes when busses are loading or unloading in our Before and After School Programs. Bus drivers are using their bus cameras to take down information when drivers break the law and pass a school bus with the stop-arm extended.

Please note that bus passes are not permitted. Students must ride the bus they are assigned. Those who cannot do so should attend Cat Care or be picked up as car riders.

As cold and flu season is quickly approaching please remind your children to practice good hand hygiene and cover their coughs and sneezes. Please keep your student home if they are sick to help prevent the spread of germs. The following guidelines will help you know when to keep your sick child at home.

Fever- Any temperature over 100 degrees orally should remain at home and must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of OTC fever reducer before returning to school.

Vomiting- Your child should remain at home from 24 hours after the last vomiting occurs.

Diarrhea- If your child has diarrhea they should remain home until free of diarrhea for 24 hours.
