Kindergarten Screening

Park View Elementary will hold our kindergarten screening events on August 7 and 8 at our school, 250 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.

We ask that families sign up for one of the time slots on either Thursday, August 7, or Friday, August 8. These screenings are for all kindergarten students.

Park View sign-up link

Your student will meet with one of our kindergarten teachers to go over some basic screening questions. These are not tests. You do not need your student to prepare or study. This is simply our first opportunity to get to know your students. Parents do not go in the screening room with their child but should wait for them to finish. You can expect the screening will take about 20 minutes.

If you can not make these dates, not a problem, the teachers will screen your child in the classroom the first few weeks of school.

If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Mullany at Park View (630)858-1600

Snack

Students will have an opportunity for snack built into their morning or afternoon, depending on lunchtime. For snack, students are able to bring in fruit, vegetables, or a cheese stick. Please ensure that the snack is easy for your child to eat independently. For example, cut up, peeled, or packed in an easy-to-open container.
