Next week is our Spring Break! Our staff will also be taking a well-deserved break, so we encourage everyone to relax, have fun, and spend time with family and friends. Take this opportunity to unplug and recharge. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 30!

Your teamwork, school spirit, and generosity will help support the D25 scholarship fund, giving college scholarships to former D25 seniors.

Pre-registration is open for families with students who are new to District 25 for the 2026–2027 school year.

• This is for new Kindergarten students and any students not currently attending Ivy Hill.

• Registration for currently enrolled students will open on May 1st.

Get ready for Summer U! Our exciting summer program offers fun, learning, and enrichment activities for students. Registration is now open — don’t miss out on a summer full of creativity, learning, and new experiences!

Regular attendance at school is an essential part of each student’s educational experience in District 25. If your child will be absent, we ask that you report the absence using the method designated for your school, listed below.

Please notify the office if your child is absent, late, or leaving early:

If the school office has not been notified of a child’s absence by 9:05 a.m., the school will contact the parent/guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will attempt to contact the emergency contacts listed on the student’s emergency form (included in the registration packet).

These procedures are in place to ensure families are informed each day and that all students are accounted for and safe.

Parents may request that their child be excused from Physical Education for one day due to a medical reason. Any absence beyond one day requires a physician’s note.

For elementary students, physician orders must clearly state any restrictions for both Physical Education and Recess. Students who are unable to participate in Physical Education may not participate in school-sponsored sports during that time.

Elementary students regularly participate in outdoor activities during Physical Education classes, daily recess, and the lunch period. For the safety of all students, children are expected to go outside during these times unless there is a documented medical reason. If your child needs to remain indoors, a physician’s note is required that specifically states the outdoor restriction.

Every day that your child is not in school, is late or is leaving early the office needs to know!! There are three ways to notify us and they are available 24 hours a day!

2. Our ATTENDANCE HOT LINE - Just call 847-398-4275 (the main number) and press 1 - leave us a message.

3. Email office - ihoffice@sd25.org

If you don't notify us, we are required to call you so PLEASE let us know if your child is absent, late or leaving early!!
