The Muraski Tribune: Issue 12

I hope you all had an enjoyable snow day with your children. I know unexpected days off can cause some chaos in terms of schedules at home, but I hope you were able to enjoy some extra time with your kids. The Griffen family was able to build a snowman, do some sledding, and watch a movie with hot cocoa. The extra time with no plans makes for great experiences with our children.

Take a look below as there are some events coming up in the building and within the community.

Our holiday shop is the week of December 8th. Your child's teacher should have communicated details on their shopping day and how to help your child purchase gifts. Our PTA, especially Mrs. Sovey, does such a wonderful job of creating an incredible experience for our kids.

Winter wonderland parties will be on the last day of school, December 19th, at the end of the day. This is a non-school day for SMS and SHS students. If you are working the parties, we are NOT permitting SMS and SHS students to attend with you.

We have partnered with Pathways Caring for Children to collect items for students being placed in foster care. Often these children are placed with their foster families with very little or no belongings. We are collecting various items to spread joy to these children in need.

Our donation drive will run from November 17th thru December 5th.
