Teachers who attended the TCEA Convention & Exposition returned excited to share one standout tool, Curipod. After seeing it in action, one teacher introduced Curipod to her elementary class, where a student couldn’t wait to tell his mom “how much fun” it was. As it turns out, his mom is a high school teacher, and she decided to give it a try with her own students. The result? They loved it just as much.

This is exactly what TCEA is all about! These educators did a great job of discovering innovative tools and strategies, then sharing that knowledge across CISD so everyone benefits. Be sure to reach out to a tech team member if you are interested in attending TCEA 2027!

As we continue to introduce new tools like Curipod, it’s important that we also evaluate how our current programs are being used. During the 2025–2026 school year, CISD invested over $30,000 in online programs. This summer, we will be reviewing usage and effectiveness as we make renewal decisions.
