Marble Falls Tournament
7th Grade B Team
Our 7th Grade B Volleyball team had a fantastic and competitive weekend at the Marble Falls Tournament September 26th. They started the tournament strong, defeating Burnet in three sets and Marble Falls in two.
In bracket play, the girls faced Ingram and came out strong, winning the first set 25–14. In the second set, they found themselves down in a significant deficit, but these girls refused to give up! They battled all the way back and won an exciting 28–26 to seal the victory!
In the final match, the girls faced a tough Lake Travis team and fought hard, falling 17–25 and 11–25.
Overall, these girls played their hearts out, showed tremendous fight, and should be incredibly proud of how much they have improved this season. Keep trusting the process, putting in the work, and bringing that positive attitude!
Keep growing, keep fighting, and keep believing, Lady Jackets!
8th Grade B Team
Your 8th grade B team stood strong against the challenge at their tournament in Marble Falls this past Saturday. We started the tournament strong, defeating Burnet in 3 sets and Marble Falls in 2.
Though we fell to Ingram and Lake Travis in bracket play, there are still a large amount of things to be proud of!
7th Grade A Team
Your 7th grade A team had an amazing weekend of volleyball. These girls started off strong winning 2 of their matches against Marble Falls and Burnet putting them in the 3rd seed. They dropped their 3rd match to a very tough Lake Travis 18-25 and 17-25. But, the girls fought hard and made some amazing plays including 5 aces, 9 digs and 5 kills. The girls took that match on the chin and defeated Lampasas in 3 sets to conclude the tournament. It was a long, tough day of volleyball and we are all so proud of their performance and team work.
8th Grade A Team
Your 8th grade A team had a great weekend of volleyball. They started out losing 2 close matches to some really good 4A schools. They bounced back quickly to defeat Johnson City in 3 games and Ingram in 3 games.
This is a tough group of ladies. Three of the four games went to three sets. They played through a total of 342 rallies! That’s a lot of volleyball and we are very proud of them.
