Principal Message
Dear Fisler Families,
There is something about the start of a new school year that never gets old for me. Back-to-school shopping, new supplies, new routines, and the anticipation of that first day all bring a special kind of energy. Even after many years in education, I still love the feeling of a fresh beginning and seeing students walk onto campus ready for what is ahead. I am so excited for tomorrow.
This year my youngest son, Chris, will begin his junior year on Wednesday, and for the first time, he will be driving himself to school. It seems like such a simple change, but it will be a big one for our household. No more morning drive together. No more pulling up to school and watching him head off for the day. Wow.. they grow up so fast!
No matter how old they get, the start of school still brings so many emotions. There is excitement, pride, nervousness, hope, and sometimes a few tears. As parents, we feel those moments right alongside our children. That is one of the reasons I love this time of year so much. A new school year gives all of us a chance to begin again, to build new relationships, to discover new strengths, and to create memories that our children will carry with them long after the school year ends.
As we welcome our students back to Fisler, I hope every child feels known, supported, challenged, and genuinely happy to be here. I am incredibly grateful to partner with our families and to be part of these important years in your children’s lives.
Here’s to a joyful beginning and a wonderful year ahead.
Warmly,
Caroline Llewellyn, Ed.D.

Free Breakfast
Free breakfast is available every school day from 7:30–7:55 a.m. in the cafeteria.
Middle School (Grades 6–8): Students are encouraged to arrive by 7:35 a.m. to allow enough time to eat before class begins.
Elementary (TK–5): Students should arrive by 7:45 a.m. so they have time to enjoy breakfast, sit with friends, and arrive in class before the 8:00 a.m. bell.
We encourage all students to take advantage of this free, healthy breakfast to start their day ready to learn.
Fisler School Spirit Days
Encourage your child to participate in our Fisler School Spirit Days! This is a fun way for students to show their school spirit, express their creativity, and build a sense of community and belonging. Whether dressing up in the daily theme or simply joining in the fun, we hope everyone will participate and help make Spirit Days a special part of the school experience!
Fisler Parent/Student Handbook
Please review the information in the Fisler Parent/Student School Policy Handbook 2026-2027. It is important to review the Parent/Student Handbook as it contains information on many areas such as campus hours, lunch and food service, laptop rules and guidelines, dress code, and many more topics to answer any questions you may have. A lot of questions can be answered by reviewing this document with your child. Feel free to reach out to us if you need more information.

F²AST
Hello Fisler Families!
Can you believe it's here already? It's the first week of school! We'd like to once again extend a big welcome to all of our new and returning families as well as our phenomenal faculty and staff. The new school year means guiding the kiddos (and all of us parents) through new routines and setting new expectations. Team Fisler (PTSA and F²AST) parents are here to help. From questions regarding Fisler's amazing 1:1 laptop program to where the best place to park is, or if you are looking for some engaging after-school programs, or would like to learn about our endowment program, our community of parents are always willing to assist. Come out and grab a coffee or matcha at the front of school on Monday morning, before or after drop-off, to meet some of the parents and get your questions answered. Don't be shy, we'd love to meet you!
If you would like to join the F²AST board or attend a meeting to see what we're all about, our next meeting is on Tuesday, August 25th @ 7:30pm via Zoom. Subsequent meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month.
Attention 6th-8th graders, information regarding Science Olympiad will be coming out soon. A student interest meeting will be held on September 2 and tryouts will be held the week of September 8th. More details to come!
Please be on the lookout for details on our first big community event, Fall Movie Night. Come join us for music, food, hanging out with new and old friends, and, of course, a movie!
Wishing everyone a fantastic last weekend before school starts and GOOD LUCK this coming week. WE'VE GOT THIS!
All the best,
Ellen and the F²AST family
