Our Harvest Fall Conferences are scheduled on November 20th and November 21st. Hopefully you have or will soon schedule a time with your student's teacher for this important time to meet. These meetings are a valuable opportunity for you to connect with your child's teacher and gain insights into their academic progress and social-emotional development.

By attending, you can:

  1. Understand Your Student's Learning: Get updates on your student's strengths, challenges, and overall performance in the classroom.

  2. Build a Partnership: Establishing a strong partnership with teachers helps create a supportive learning environment for your student.

  3. Address Concerns: This is your chance to discuss any academic or social questions or concerns.

  4. Encourage Your Student: Your involvement shows your student that you care about their education, which can motivate them to succeed.

Being involved with your student's education is one of the most important factors in your their success. We look forward to this one-on-one time with families.

DID YOU KNOW that on the November 5th ballot, voters will be asked to consider renewing a special education millage? If the millage renewal is approved, all millage dollars would stay local. The revenue generated would be used to pay for services mandated for special education all across Washtenaw County - including Harvest and other schools within the district.

Registered voters residing in Washtenaw ISD’s service area - including voters living within Saline Area Schools boundaries - can vote in person on Tuesday, November 5. Voters can also vote early in person or by absentee ballot. To learn more about the special education millage renewal, you can visit the WISD’s website at www.washtenawisd.org/SpecialEdRenewal or call 734-994-8100.
