FMHS Newsletter | Fall Preview 2026

Dear Flower Mound High School feeder families,

It has been an exciting fall at Flower Mound High School, and our Jaguars have given us so many reasons to celebrate!

Our Water Polo and Tennis teams have made impressive playoff runs, while Volleyball and Football are finishing the second half of their seasons strong! Our Jaguar Band has had outstanding performances in its first two competitions, and our JROTC brought home a championship at its very first competition of the year! Our Debate team is off to an incredible start, winning all five competitions they have entered! Our Orchestra and Choir students have shared their talents through wonderful fall concerts, and our Theatre students are hard at work preparing for their upcoming fall play. And of course, one of the biggest highlights of the season was our Jaguars bringing home the Mound Showdown victory in front of a SOLD-OUT crowd! The school spirit and Jaguar pride have been incredible!

We also have so much to celebrate in the classroom! We are incredibly proud to recognize 244 Nationally Recognized Scholars, 69 National Merit Commended Scholars, and 24 National Merit Semifinalists! These outstanding accomplishments are a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students and staff. From academics to athletics to fine arts and beyond, our Jaguars continue to make us proud every single day!

We are so thankful for the support of our entire feeder pattern and love seeing our future Jaguars cheering us on and being part of our traditions. There is truly something special about being part of the Jaguar Family, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
