- Faith -
Welcome back to another great week of opportunity and growth. This week I wanted to remind each of us to continue pressing forward and to ask you to never waiver in your FAITH. Respectfully, I'm not trying to sway you towards a particular religious affiliation. Rather, I want each of you to continue having FAITH in the process of growth, excellence and your future. I encourage each of you not to waiver in your "Trust and complete confidence in something or someone". More importantly and more specifically I encourage you to maintain FAITH in your individual skillset, in yourselves and with the people in your lives who love you! Let's be honest, none of us really know what is around the corner regarding our future, but what we can control is how we choose to operate on a daily basis. I ask each of you to create situations that put yourself in the best possible place to ensure that you will be ready for each and every challenge that may lie ahead. I ask each of you to have your best interest at heart and slowly walk towards your goals and aspirations. And, most importantly, I ask each of you to have an steadfast FAITH within yourself and what you have to offer your community! Have a super week and remember that you are precious, you are valuable and your are LOVED!!!

We can be frustrated and even mad, but we have to continue to have FAITH that the work we put in now will get us to where we need to go! We know that you have all of the capabilities to reach the "there" that you envision in your mind. Our cohort has the support you need and we are available to help you build on the here and now! FAITH allows you to keep that belief alive with actions!

Just a friendly reminder that I need to keep current with all of your demographic/school related information in the student management system (SYNERGY). If you have a new phone number, email address or new address where you live please get that information to me as soon as possible. If you have moved or your address has changed you must provide me with a new lease or mortgage and utility bill information. Please have FAITH that we will do whatever is necessary to help you through this semester, so please keep us informed of any changes that may occur. Can't wait to see you all in a few weeks!

TESTING for the Spring ISTEP+ will begin in February. This round of ISTEP+ will be completed by ALL Juniors - this means YOU! Testing will take place at WCHS and YOU must attend all four days that are scheduled. Transportation will be provided for testers and information will be emailed to all students as well as mailed home via traditional mail.
