A Message from Mrs. Belcher:
Stewart families,
Happy Mother's Day to all of our Mustang moms! The month of May is full of exciting events and celebrations! Please be sure to read over the Stampede each week for all the details of the many happenings. We are looking forward to making many special memories with you!
Please continue to finish the year strong! School attendance and timeliness are so important in the success of our students. If your child arrives after 7:55 a.m., please park and walk your child in. This provides safety for our students and allows you to help them get signed in for the day. Thank you for partnering with us as we work to grow each and every child! It is such a blessing to work with your children!
Have a great week,
Kristen Belcher, Principal

Stewart Student Considerations for 2026-2027: Due May 15th
We cannot believe it is time for us to begin working on class placement for the 2026-2027 school year. In order to help us with this process, we would like to give parents an opportunity to provide us with important information that will help us make the best decision for your child's class placement. While most children transition easily from grade to grade, we would like to be made aware of any special circumstances. If your child typically does well with staff and students, you do not need to complete this form.
Due to individual student needs, it is impossible to honor specific requests for teachers. Please do not request specific teachers by name as the classroom composition, programs and learning needs are our top priorities. We are confident your child will be placed in a wonderful learning environment that will help them thrive! Furthermore, all of our teachers are highly qualified and are equipped to meet the needs of our students.
Please know the information you provide will remain confidential and will be viewed only by the administrative team.
If you believe this form needs to be completed for your child, please have it submitted no later than May 15, 2026. Be sure to click the submit button when you are finished.

Talk:
- Talk with your child about internet safety and potential risks. Regular conversations can help you know what your child is doing and what apps they use.
- Talk with your child calmly, as anger may cause your child to become defensive and less likely to share information with you.
- Talk with your child about what the rules and consequences are when it comes to using devices and being online.
