Winter Conferences will be held on the following days:
- Thursday, Feb. 5th from 8-9 AM and 4:30-7:30 PM
- Tuesday, Feb. 10th from 8-9 AM and 4:30-7:30 PM
- Thursday, Feb. 12th from 8-9 AM and 4:30-7:30 PM
The scheduling window is now open until Feb. 3rd. Below you will find our Winter Conference Letter with more information on conferences.
In light of recent events in our community, we are offering virtual conferences as an option for our families. If you would like to schedule a virtual conference, please reach out to the classroom teacher.
There is no school for students on Monday, Feb. 2nd, it is a licensed staff workshop, school will resume for students on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd.
February is Rush Creek's Read-A-Thon. We are asking families to record their child’s minutes on the slips we provide. Please remind students that slips must include the student's full name, teacher, total minutes read and a parent signature to be counted. Slips will be collect on the following dates:
> Week 1 due Monday 2/9
> Week 2 due Tuesday 2/17
> Week 3 due Monday 2/23
> Week 4 due Monday 3/2

Wednesday, Feb. 11th
On February 11th we are throwing our teachers and staff an Olympic theme breakfast! We are lucky to have a gold winning team here at Rush Creek Elementary so let's show them our appreciation! We are asking families to donate beverages on February 11th to go with the breakfast spread that will be provided by PTO. Please sign up and donate if you are able. Give Kids a Smile is now accepting appointment registration for families needing free dental care for children. Check the link for participating clinics. Availability is limited, all appointments slots occur February 6 and 7, 2026.
