As we enter the final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. May is always a special time as we celebrate all the growth, learning, and accomplishments of our students.

We’re so proud of everything our students have achieved, and we’re equally grateful to our dedicated staff and supportive families for making our school community so strong.

May is an exciting month with many fun events and activities:

1. Teacher Appreciation Week- Help us show gratitude to our dedicated educators. Flyer below.

2. Field Day and Classroom Awards (1st-4th grade)- Students will participate in a variety of outdoor games. See Flyers below.

3. 5th Grade Events: Field Trip, Fun Friday, Awards Ceremony, and 5th grade walk.

4. Career Day- May 12th

5. Loganville High School Senior Walk- May 19th

6. Last AR (Accelerated Reader) Treasure Trolley- May 20th

7. Kindergarten Program- May 20th @ 9 AM

8. PreK Program- May 20th @ 9 AM

9. Loganville High School Graduation- May 21st @ 8 PM

Good luck to the SES Archery Team as they go to Nationals on May 8th-11th.

Currently, SES is 4th place for 3D and 5th place for Bullseye in the State!

From tending to scrapes and sniffles to managing chronic conditions and promoting overall wellness, Nurse Amy plays a vital role in keeping our school community healthy and thriving.

We are excited to celebrate our amazing 5th graders as they prepare to move on to middle school!

After the awards ceremony, we invite you to line the front of the school during the walk with posters, signs, balloons, and lots of school spirit to help make this moment extra special for our students. Feel free to bring noise makers and cheers of encouragement as they walk by — let’s send them off in style!

As Jaguars, we ROAR. We are Respectful, Organized, Accepting, and Responsible. Please review and remind your child that we want to ROAR every day in the cafeteria, hallways, playground, and in the classroom. We have lots of fun plans for this school year to reward positive behaviors.

Students can purchase items from our ROAR store on the PBIS Rewards app. The ROAR Store Hours will be Monday and Tuesday 8:00-8:40. The items will be delivered on Friday from 8:00-8:40. Students will also qualify to be entered into raffles based on how many points they earned. PK-2 will have monthly raffles and 3-5 will have quarterly raffles.

The PreK- 2nd Grade raffles will be:

April: Outdoor Summer Basket

May: Bike or Scooter

The 3rd-5th grade will have a quarterly raffle.
