Hello Pulse Families,

I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.

We are entering an important and exciting stretch of the school year focused on continued learning, assessments, and end-of-year activities. This time is especially meaningful for our seniors as they prepare for graduation and take the next steps in their journeys!

We are proud of the strong start our students have made this week, and we encourage all students to stay focused, finish strong, and continue demonstrating the pride and excellence that defines our Pulse community. Your continued support in ensuring students are present, on time, and engaged in their learning each day is greatly appreciated.

As we move into the final weeks of the semester, we want to share a few important reminders:

  • Senior Week: We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2026 next week! Please encourage your senior to participate in the scheduled activities and celebrations.
  • Senior Newsletter: Families of seniors are encouraged to review important updates, timelines, and upcoming events here:
  • Testing & End-of-Year Expectations: Students should continue to attend school daily, arrive on time, and be prepared for upcoming assessments and final course requirements.
  • 9th-11th Grade Final Exam Exemption Pilot: McClure is participating in this district pilot. Students with less than 7 absences in a class, no academic cheating major infractions, and a 90 or above in a course, will be eligible to exempt the final exam for that class. Students can exempt multiple exams. Communication will start going out soon with more details to eligible students.

On behalf of the entire McClure Health Science High School staff, thank you for your partnership and support. We look forward to a strong and successful finish to the school year together.

Yours in service,
Dr. Hernandez
Principal
