Wildcat WisdomNewsletterWesley Chapel High School 9/4/26

Message from Mr. McDermott: Pride, Purpose, Performance

Progress reports will be out on 9/18/26, please take some time to monitor your student's progress in the Pasco One app, https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/parents If your student is struggling, please reach out to the teacher to find out what is needed for improvement.

Help Us Out with Traffic

For the safety of our students and the efficiency of our arrival and dismissal operations, students should not be dropped off or picked up on Wells Road. Vehicles stopping along Wells Road create congestion, delay the parent line, and present potential safety concerns.

Student Parking

Bridgeway Church has contacted us and asked that students not park at the church. If your student is parking at Bridgeway Church, they may be towed at owners expense. There are still spots available, please see Ms. Carpenter for assistance.

Schedule Change Deadline

Students still trying to change their schedule for a FLVS or Pasco eSchool class must be active in the online course by 9/25/26. Students need to see their grade level administrator for a schedule change. No changes may be made after 9/25/26.

Changes to check-out procedures

Due to the relocation of our bus loop, student dismissal procedures have been adjusted to ensure the safety and efficient movement of all students and vehicles.

As a result, student checkouts will not be permitted after 1:00 PM. We kindly ask that any appointments or early dismissals be scheduled before this time whenever possible.

We appreciate your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we work through these changes and prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

However, all food delivered by food delivery services will be held until the end of the day. Please do not have food delivered to your student.

Access To Student Parking Lot

Students are expected to be on time when arriving to school. The student gate will be locked, therefore, students must arrive within the gate window.
