PTSA + FOUNDATION MESSAGE
Hey Spartans! 💙💛
Hey Spartans!
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, staff, students, and community members who made this year’s Spartan Sprint Color Run such a tremendous success! Because of your enthusiasm, generosity, and support, we raised vital funds that will help sustain important programs that might otherwise be impacted by district budget cuts. Final tallies are still coming in, but it is already clear this was a successful event. We are truly grateful—thank you, Spartans!
What a fun and energizing way to kick off Spring Break!
Save the date for our PTSAs 4th Annual Multicultural Fair, "Our Stories Stitched Together" coming Saturday, April 25th! We will have food, activities for the kids, a community quilt, and performances by Lion Dancers, Irish Dancers, Taiko Drumming & Story Telling, and more! This is an incredible community event designed to celebrate culture, food, music and community - you don't want to miss!
We hope each of you enjoys a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on April 13th!
Welcome PTSA Board 2026/27!
MULTICULTURAL FAIR
Join Us for Newcomb Academy’s Multicultural Fair
Our PTSA is excited to invite our community to the 4th Annual Multicultural Fair on April 25 from 4–7 PM in the Newcomb Gym. This year’s theme, “Our Stories Stitched Together,” celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, and stories that make up our school community.
The event will feature:
Live cultural performances, including Lion Dancers, Irish Dance, Taiko drumming with storytelling, and more.
A variety of food vendors, including pizza, tacos, cotton candy, churros, and boba
Classroom led cultural booths with activities and crafts
A photo booth and additional interactive experiences
Admission is free for all attendees. A $5 wristband will be available for purchase during the week leading up to the event and at the door. The wristband helps to support all the crafts, activities, and cultural experiences throughout the fair.

Support the Newcomb Academy Foundation
The past couple of weeks have been full of energy as we welcomed Apex to campus for our Spartan Sprint. From the excitement leading up to the event to the incredible spirit on race day, it has been so fun to see our students show up with enthusiasm, teamwork, and school pride. We are so grateful to our families and caregivers for your support throughout this fundraiser. Whether through donations, volunteering, cheering on students, or simply encouraging participation. It takes a collective effort, and we are incredibly appreciative of the time, energy, and generosity that went into making this such a success.
A huge thank you to our event chairs Krystle Fontana and Ashley Lampson Opstad! As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we’re also looking ahead to our Newcomb Golf Classic. This is the last Foundation fundraising event for the school year and we hope you’ll join us for a fun day on the course!
