Recreation Update
Claremont Playground
The Claremont Field playground is expected to be installed in the next few weeks. Once it is ready for the public, we will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and give our youngest residents the honor of officially christening the new playground. Watch for details!
Pavilion
Plans are moving forward for the new pavilion, concession stand and bathrooms at the Polo Grounds. The design is complete and the engineer has completed the survey to determine the best location for installation. The Department of Public Works will dig the trench for installation of the water and sewer lines before construction begins in the spring. This project is the final project in Phase I of the Borough's Comprehensive Recreation Plan and was also identified as a 2026 goal of the Borough Council. And yes, - no more port-a-johns!.
