Dear Holliston Public Schools Community,
As we settle into the rhythm of the new school year, I hope your children are adjusting well and feeling supported in their classrooms. We are eager to keep our momentum going through several upcoming opportunities to connect with you.
Back to School Night Season
Back to School Night season is officially underway across our district. Below is the schedule for our upcoming school open houses:
Miller Elementary: This Tuesday September 8 (Grade 3 & Montessori) and Wednesday September 9 (Grade 4 & Grade 5)
Placentino Elementary: Next Tuesday September 15 (Pre-K & Kindergarten) and Thursday September 17 (Grade 1 & Grade 2)
Robert Adams Middle School (RAMS): Next Wednesday September 16 for the entire school
Holliston High School (HHS): Wednesday September 30th for the entire school
Prior to each school’s Back to School Night, our new central office team will host optional Listening and Learning sessions half an hour before the main program begins. We warmly invite you to join us for these informal, collaborative conversations where all community members can share their unique perspectives and help guide the long-term vision of our district. We are eager to hear your thoughts and insights on key questions: What in the Holliston Schools do you want to keep? What would you like to improve? How do you envision the District over the next several years?
Miller: 6:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room
Placentino: 5:30 PM in the Library
RAMS: 5:30 PM in the Library
HHS: 5:30 PM in the Library
Superintendent's Roundtable
To continue building strong district-wide collaboration, I am establishing a Superintendent's Roundtable. This group will bring together a diverse cross-section of our community – including students, parents, community members, educators, administrators, and support personnel – to assess how things are going in our schools, share ideas on future direction, and provide feedback on upcoming initiatives.
Schedule: The last available Wednesday of each month, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Central Office Conference Room
