Honoring Our Veterans
Honoring Our Veterans
On Tuesday, November 11, there is no school. Our Foster Fox family proudly joins the nation in honoring Veterans Day — a time to recognize and thank the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
We are deeply grateful to all veterans in our community — parents, grandparents, neighbors, and staff members — who have dedicated themselves to protecting our country and upholding the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, sacrifice, and service remind us of the importance of gratitude, respect, and unity.
At Foster on Monday, November 10, we’ll be serving coffee and cookies for any veterans who drop by.
Let’s come together as a school community to show our appreciation and ensure every veteran feels honored, remembered, and valued.
From all of us at Foster Elementary — thank you, veterans! ❤️🤍💙
The Scholastic Book Fair is Here!
Dear Fox Families,
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Foster library, November 3-7, during regularly scheduled class library time or every day after school until 3:00 pm.
For full details, and to create an eWallet, visit our school's Book Fair homepage:
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/fosterelementaryschool4
More than ever, we need to get students reading. Studies prove that children with more books at home higher-level reading skills, and attain more years of education overall. Come visit our book fair this month!
Happy reading,
Shelley Nurre, Principal
