Thoughts from Dr. Cohen

The cracks in the Western Wall, between the giant limestone blocks, are filled each year with notes from people seeking to communicate with their spirituality. Twice a year, on the New Year and on Passover, each note and message is systematically removed and buried on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. This creates space for millions of visitors to this holy site to leave notes, seeking something that fills a void. Many cultures have a time of reflection and introspection, often grounded in concepts of time, spirituality, and community. For the Jewish people, it is the time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. These 10 days mark an essential period in Judaism, during which we reflect on our actions and strive to make the world a better place. However, it is probably the time between Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah that is perhaps the most important for that type of work.

Congratulations, Raptor families! For the second consecutive year, Harmony has been designated a Performance School. We would not be able to do this without the commitment of each student and their families, our staff, and leadership team!
