FALL EDITION VOLUME 2, NUMBER 1 AUGUST 2026
A Message from Superintendent Jason Wolf
Welcome 2026-2027 School Year
Dear Beal City Families and Community,
It is hard to believe another summer has come and gone, and we are preparing to welcome our students back to Beal City Public Schools. I hope everyone has had an opportunity to enjoy the summer, spend time with family and friends, and recharge. I am excited about the 2026-27 school year and all that it will bring!
It has been a very busy summer around our campus. The most recent phase of our Bond Construction Project has brought significant improvements to our district, including the completion of our three-classroom addition to the high school, the Elementary STEM Lab addition, and improvements to our athletic facilities, including the Team Room (locker rooms), athletic field, and track surface.
We have also made substantial improvements throughout the campus grounds. The athletic parking lot was completely reconstructed and expanded, adding approximately 40 parking spaces with lighting, and Aggie Avenue was completely redone. We also improved drainage and regraded the area between the school and athletic complex. In addition, bond funds allowed us to purchase two gasoline-powered buses, transitioning our entire fleet of nine buses to gasoline power.
Using capital project funds, we also completed the seal coating and relining of our main parking lot, helping to preserve the surface and improve the appearance of our campus.
These improvements represent significant investments in our school and community. We are grateful to the community for supporting the bond and allowing us to make these improvements that will benefit our students for many years to come.
Because these improvements belong to our entire community, we will be hosting a Facilities Open House on Thursday, September 10th from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Parents, families, alumni, and community members will have an opportunity to tour our facilities, see the updates and renovations, and learn more about the most recent phase of our Bond Construction Project.
While the facility improvements are exciting, our most important work continues to be focused on our students. This year, we will place a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships with students. Every student comes to us with different experiences, strengths, and challenges. We want every student at Beal City to have an adult who knows them, believes in them, and cares about their success.
As we begin another school year, thank you to our families and community for your continued support. What makes Beal City special is the pride we share in our school and, most importantly, in our students.
I cannot wait to see our hallways filled with students again. There is a lot to look forward to, and I am excited to begin another great year together.
Welcome back, and Go Aggies!

Beal City Public Schools Transitions to FinalForms for the 2026–2027 School Year
Beal City Public Schools is excited to introduce FinalForms, an online management system designed to simplify how families complete and update required student paperwork. Starting with the 2026–2027 school year, FinalForms serves as our primary digital platform for annual back-to-school registration, medical updates, emergency contacts, and MHSAA athletic participation clearance.
Why We’re Making the Switch
In past years, back-to-school paperwork meant filling out identical paper forms for every student, every year. FinalForms eliminates redundant paperwork while keeping student data safe and accurate.
Key benefits for Beal City families include:
One-Time Data Entry: FinalForms saves your information year-to-year. After your first setup, you only need to review pre-filled forms and update changes annually.
Single Account for All Children: Parents with multiple students in the district can review and sign forms for every child from a single parent account.
Mobile & Touchless Access: Fill out, upload, and electronically sign forms anytime from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Real-Time Athletic Clearance: Track MHSAA sports physicals, concussion waivers, and athletic eligibility updates directly online.
Instant Emergency Readiness: Updates to emergency contacts or medical information instantly sync so staff and coaches have accurate details during school hours and extracurricular events.
1.Check Your Email Inbox:Look for an email from FinalForms. Parents and guardians will receive (or have already received) a registration email containing a personalized link to set up their FinalForms parent account. (Note: Incoming kindergarten families will receive their activation links by the second week of August).
2.Activate Your Parent Account:Set your password. Click the personalized link in the email to confirm your account and set up your password.
3.Review & Sign Required Forms:Complete forms for each child. Review the pre-populated student details, make any necessary updates (such as medical alerts or updated phone numbers), and electronically sign all required district and athletic forms.
Need Help?
We know transitioning to a new digital system can bring questions. If you haven't received your account email, need assistance logging in, or need access to a computer, our office staff is ready to help:

Thank you for your partnership as we streamline our administrative processes to better serve our students and families!
SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND DELAYS
Starting last school year, all school districts in Isabella County, including ours, adjusted weather-related delays from two-hours to three-hours to better prioritize the safety of our students and staff during winter travel. This change allows additional daylight and gives county road crews more time to clear and treat the roads, helping ensure safer commutes. By adding this extra hour, we hope to reduce the number of full school day cancellations, as conditions may improve enough for safe travel. As always, we will make our initial decisions regarding a delay or cancellation by 6:00 a.m., and if conditions do not improve, any shift from a delay to a cancellation will be made by 8:00 a.m.
Notifications will be sent through the Aggie App, text message, and phone calls to the contact listed in PowerSchool. Please be sure to download the app and maintain updated information for your students account.
SCHOOL HOURS
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL 8:05 AM-2:55 PM
NOTE: For three hour delays, add three hours to your buildings start time. No Breakfast on delay days, however, lunch will be served right away.
Meet Our Newest Team Members
As we kick off another exciting school year, we are thrilled to welcome several new faces to our Aggie community. Each of these individuals brings a wealth of talent, passion, and dedication to our students and families. Please join us in giving a warm Aggie Welcome to our newest team members!
Administration
Welcome David Farley - Secondary Schools Principal
David brings more than 13 years of school administration experience at both the secondary and elementary levels. He currently resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Rachel, and their two sons, Max and Rex, ages 10 and 6. We are excited about the experience, leadership, and vision David will bring to our Middle School and High School building and district.
Teaching Faculty
Welcome Miss Lindsay Hornbacher - English Language Arts Teacher
Miss Hornbacher began her higher education journey by earning her Associate of Applied Science degree at Montcalm Community College before completing her Bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University. Lindsay has three years of teaching experience at Grant High School and two years of experience as a substitute teacher.
Outside of school, you might find her engaging in a wide variety of hobbies. She's an avid reader, enjoys playing video games, board and card games, and has a knack for organization. In fact, one of her hidden talents is putting together furniture (think IKEA-level mastery!). In her favorite video games like Minecraft, she enjoys giving her digital animals creative names.
"I'm excited to be joining the team and getting to know everyone! I love creating a classroom where students feel welcomed, challenged, and supported, and I'm looking forward to a great year of learning, collaboration, and building meaningful connections with both students and staff."
Please join us in giving Miss Hornbacher a warm Aggie welcome to the Beal City Community!
Welcome Mr. Andrew Snow - Social Studies Teacher
We are thrilled to introduce and welcome our newest Middle/High School Social Studies teacher, Mr. Andrew Snow. Andrew, also known as Drew by family and friends, is from Bay City where he is a John Glenn Highschool Alum and earned his Bachelor's degree at Ferris State University.
When Mr. Snow isn't in the classroom, you can usually find him playing drums, listening to music, creating art, writing, and all things History, Geography, and Social Studies!
A fun fact: Andrew might hold a record for extreme luck. Despite spraining both ankles at least four separate times each, plus enduring a long series of skateboarding and snowboarding wipeouts, he has never broken a single bone!
Andrew's favorite quote: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill
"I am honored to have the chance to work in and with Beal City Schools, and I'm excited to partner with the school, teachers, parents, and students to serve the community. I can't wait to get to know all of you, and feel free to contact me any time! Let's have a great year together!"
Help us welcome Mr. Snow to the Beal City community! We are so excited to have him join the Aggie family.
