Volleyball Is In Full Swing

Despite a few cancellations due to the snow days, intramural volleyball has gotten off to a good start. We have 163 students playing this winter, which is just over half of our school! There are two more weeks of games remaining on the schedule. We are still awaiting payments from a few families. Please email Ms. Henderson at khenderson@ipsk12.net if you have any payment questions.

New School Store Is Open

The High School DECA chapter, which promotes business skills and entrepreneurship, has opened a school store which will be open on Wednesdays during the High School’s R Block in the rotunda, which coincides with Middle School lunches. Middle School students may stop and peruse the items for sale and make a purchase if they wish on their way to or from lunch. A high school leader from DECA describing the store says, “The DECA School Store is your go-to spot for the coolest school merch, including limited edition drops you won’t find anywhere else! We also sell tasty snacks and essential school supplies to keep you fueled and ready for class. Stop by, grab your favorites, and rep your school in style!” Ipswich branded clothing, snacks that follow the Wellness Policy, and school supplies are for sale. All proceeds are put toward the cost of the DECA competitions that the High School group will be competing in.

Snow, Trimester Two, And Report Cards

With four snow days and a couple of delays that we have had this year, we are extending trimester two until March 20th. Once we are clear of all winter weather we will then make decissions about end of the year activities such as 8th Grade Graduation and Beach Day. Trimester two report cards should be ready on Friday, March 27th. Speaking of report cards, DESE has released the District Report Cards for 2025. You can click here to see how we are doing.

Reminders From The Office

1. If your child is absent please call the main office at (978)356-3535. Some folks have been contacting teachers which is nice but Ms. Henderson needs this information. You can also reach her by email at khenderson@ipsk12.net.

2. The weather looks great next week and most kids will want to go outside after lunch. Please ask them to wear boots so their feet are not wet all afternoon.

3. If your student is going to be attending a different school next year, or if they are an 8th grader and going to a different high school than Ipswich High next year, please contact Ms. Henderson so we can send their records to the next school.
